Adoption Celebration and a Legacy

What a wonderful, special day the Daam Family had yesterday.  A time of eating (of course) and then a special ceremony of celebration on the addition and adoption of Brodie and Lexi into the Daam family.  Ben and Brenda shared their hearts and journey through this process.  Dad Daam read the adoption certificates.  And to finalize, Rick prayed a prayer of dedication.  Let me just say that we all had wet eyes.  Thank you Dad Daam for getting us all together, Gordon for organizing and Jack for hosting.  I just love our family.  Here are some pictures during the ceremony and I didn't capture everyone.  And then I forgot to take pictures after except for the brothers and Dad Daam.  Oooops.

 Brenda and Ben sharing.

Brodie and Lexi in this picture.

Card from all of us to Ben and Brenda for Brodie and Lexi.

Five very special men.  Dad Daam and his 4 boys.  Gordon, Ben, Donald, Rick and Jack.

Praise God for his love and faithfulness.  For His comfort, protection and leading.  For a family dedicated to God and sharing that.  And for parents that instilled that.  What a wonderful legacy the Daam Family has.  So very thankful.  Praise Him!  Praise Him!  Jesus our blessed Redeemer!

Have a great day!
Debra

What a nice idea to have an adoption celebration! I have three adopted grandchildren and we are so blessed to have them be a part of our family. We always celebrate the anniversary of the day the adoption became final. When they were little the activity of choice usually was to go to Chuckie Cheese. LOL not a fav with the adults, but happy to go and celebrate. We never do gifts just a fun event in their honor.
